There is one way to obtain a Green Card with very little effort, cost or time. It’s the Diversity Visa Lottery, also known as the Green Card Lottery, held once a year. Applications are usually announced around the fall and winners are selected in the Spring. Beware of internet scams who send you applications asking for large sums without any confirmation they ever applied for you.
